SAP Virtualization Week 2009

0 Comments Conferences, NetApp, VMware

It has been confirmed that I will be speaking at SAP Virtualization Week this year, I will be discussing the City of San Diego’s implementation of SAP Netweaver 7 on VMware ESX 3.5.  Here is some information direct from the SAP Enterprise Virtualization website:

Many of our top customers will meet onsite at COIL to listen to 25 sessions presented by customers, partners and SAP, to talk about their experience with virtualization in SAP environments and to discuss the newest trends and technologies.

In addition to the onsite participation we are happy to have Citrix sponsoring the live broadcast via GoToWebinar, to enable everyone around the world to participate as well.

The event includes a network reception with a panel discussion for which we are very happy to welcome.

  • Simon Crosby, CTO, Virtualization and Management, Citrix
  • Mike Neil, GM Virtualization, Microsoft
  • Steve Herrod, CTO, VMware
  • Alex Vasilevsky, CTO, Virtual Computer

for an active discussion.

The formal registration process will start soon, meanwhile go to SAP Virtualization Week 2009 Agenda to look at the detailed agenda. We maintain a preregistration list, please send us an email if you want to get an email as soon as the registration page is live.

So, I will be heading up to Palo Alto on April 17th, I’m going to make a little vacation into as my Significant Other has never been up to Northern California.  For those of you that cannot budget for this event, they are making available online through a Citrix GoToWebinar.  If your planning on attending on-site let me know, I’d love to meet any of my readers.

Special Thanks to NetApp for sponsoring me to attend and speak at this event.
